Katie Muhtaris

Bio

Katie Muhtaris teaches fifth grade at Burley elementary school for Chicago Public Schools.  She is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher and holds a Master’s Degree in Teacher Leadership. She is a Heinmann Author, co-authoring Connecting Comprehension and Technology with Stephanie Harvey, Anne Goudvis, and Kristin Ziemke.  In addition, she and her students have been featured on Stephanie Harvey and Harvey Daniels’ Comprehension and Collaboration DVD and in the fourth edition of Best Practice by Harvey Daniels, Steve Zemelman, and Arthur Hyde.
